Many VAG models feature engine torque mountings, wich can have high levels of movement caused by voiding in the mounting, causing imprecise gear shifting and exhaust movement. SuperPro's inserts effectively restrict the movement whilst retaining the NVH properties of the original mounting. Professional Motor Mechanic explains fully after the break.

The VAG tortion bar is a clever solution which controls the roll of the vehicle by the beam twisting to limit
the independent movement of the trailing arms, without the need for a rear anti-roll bar. If this bush fails the roll control is compromised. SuperPro polyurethane suspension bushes with their unique properties will not only repair this problem but also improve performance significantly. Land Rover employs a 'hydraulic' bush for its front lower control arm, a bush in fact filled with oil. The design of the bush is susceptible to failure, usually as a result of hard impacts. SuperPro has developed a unique bush which replicates these features, but with the added bonus of being far more resilient.

Here for your enjoyment and delight is the full 2011 season summary with all the best action from both the SuperPro VAG Trophy & Mk2 GTi's. Thanks must go to all of the competitors for providing the entertainment, John, Ian & Phil for making it happen and the guys at MSVR for putting the video together - enjoy the film and look out for more great racing in 2012. The Fensport Celica GT4X takes the 2011 Toyota Sprint Series title, finishing 1st overall with 3 outright wins and 3 second places, driven by Adrian Smith the 660bhp sprint spec Celica GT4 X has enjoyed an extremely close battle with Jonny Milner in his Celica GT4 (below right). The pair have been trading fractions of seconds all year in what was the closest battle to date. Both Drivers finishing on 403 points out of a possible 405, Adrian retains the title by winning the first round back at Rockingham. Just goes to show you need to hit the ground running when the competition is this close :) Click read more to view the full report.

Former US airbase Blyton Park hosted the sixth and final round of the 2011 Toyota Sprint Series. Jointly designed by former BTCC driver Eugene O'Brien and journalist John Barker, the 1.5 mile track near Gainsborough provided a fitting venue to bring the curtain down on this years championship.
