The Fensport Celica GT4X takes the 2011 Toyota Sprint Series title, finishing 1st overall with 3 outright wins and 3 second places, driven by Adrian Smith the 660bhp sprint spec Celica GT4 X has enjoyed an extremely close battle with Jonny Milner in his Celica GT4 (below right). The pair have been trading fractions of seconds all year in what was the closest battle to date. Both Drivers finishing on 403 points out of a possible 405, Adrian retains the title by winning the first round back at Rockingham. Former US airbase Blyton Park hosted the sixth and final round of the 2011 Toyota Sprint Series. Jointly designed by former BTCC driver Eugene O'Brien and journalist John Barker, the 1.5 mile track near Gainsborough provided a fitting venue to bring the curtain down on this years championship.

Cole Pemberton is a long time Drift fan - what he never expected was for his girlfriend Emma to get the bug as well. The result? Two matching Nissan Skyline R33's fully prepared for sideways action - and of course, an essential part of the build of both cars were SuperPro bushes, with outstanding results. Following a top-class performance last Sunday at Snetterton, Andy Cooper won the seventh and final round of this year's Pirelli European Drift Championship in the RMS Nissan S14a. His opponent in the final - and therefore the second-placed finisher - was Vince Noot in the Kleerssponsored Nissan PS13, whilst Brett Castle in the Sumo Power NISMO Competition.com Nissan S15 claimed third place and, in doing so, became the 2011 Pirelli EDC Champion!

Last weekend saw Gavin Renshaw as the fastest man on the track for the fourth time this season, his performance at Snetterton earning him another Time Attack victory and, most importantly, the 2011 Pro-Class Championship title! Following the NR Autosport driver into second place was Marcus Webster in his Midlands Performance Nissan Skyline R32 with Duncan Graham in the BC Racing Subaru in third.

For the first time in the Toyota Sprint Series history, Croft played host to round five of the championship. A former wartime airbase located in North Yorkshire, records of racing there go back to the 1920's, although the current layout was not designed and put into use until 1997, and has since received yearly visits by the British Touring Car and British Superbike championships.

Event Report - Round 4 Cottesmore
14th August 2011

From the tight confines of Barkston Heath, round four of the Toyota Sprint series moved on to the daunting 3.5 mile Cottesmore layout in Rutland, the smallest county in England.
This was the first time the series had competed on a track of this length, it's fast, flowing nature making it a new and challenging experience for everyone.
